FZE "B" Team

Fort Zumwalt East proudly ices both Varsity and B-level teams each season, giving players of all skill levels the chance to compete, grow, and represent their school with pride. The Fort Zumwalt East Hockey Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing high school hockey opportunities for students in grades 7–12 who live within the Fort Zumwalt East High School district. While the program operates as a non–school-sponsored club, we skate under the Lion name and logo, and our athletes and coaches hold themselves to the highest standard—representing Fort Zumwalt East with integrity, sportsmanship, and Lion pride both on and off the ice.

Ages

B-Team Player Eligibility:

The birth years for 2025-26 season are 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The B-Team program is for players grades 7-10 also meeting the requirements of 14U Bantams in youth hockey.

No Youth Tier 1 (AAA), any player rostered on a Central States team, or any Central States Prospects player may be rostered.

Practices start in September and run through April.

Where

Practices are held at

St. Peters Rec Plex

Home and Away games are scheduled by Mid States Hockey at ice rinks in St. Charles and St. Louis County ice arenas.

Games

Regular season league play is typically 10 games. B-Team league games typically start the last week of March and run through then end of May.

Jerseys

B-Team jersey is included in the fees and will be returned at the end of the season. A fee of $125 will be applied to players account if jersey is not returned at the end of season. Socks will be the responsibility of each player.

Extra Costs

Registration Fees cover cost of ice for practice, games, referee fees, and coach stipend. Additional cost may be incurred for additional equipment, gear, jerseys, bonus games, and tournaments.

We are excited to launch another great season of Lion's Hockey! For the 2025–2026 season, FZE Hockey Club will field two teams: Varsity & B Developmental Team

"B" Team Player Fees

$1,500* per skater

$ 750* per goalie

*Credit/Debit fees are not included

Covers: Mid States Hockey fees (ice time, referees), coaching fees, practices, practice games, and general club expenses

Payment plans are available, with monthly payments beginning in September

Team-Specific Costs

Teams may choose to participate in extra activities (team dinners, outings, etc.). These costs are not included in team fees.

Eligibility

Suspensions

Any player serving a school suspension is not eligible to participate in team activities—including practices, games, and off-ice events—until the suspension ends.

"B" Team practices begin in September.
